Cybernion Local
A single file that runs in your browser on your machine. No server, no account, and no data sent to Cybernion.
How it works
You download a single compiled file and open it in your browser. It runs locally with no internet connection. You receive a signed licence token (ECDSA P-256) and open the file on your own machine. There is no server to stand up and no account to create.
Cybernion Local is stateless by design. Browser held information can be lost after a refresh, browser restart or machine restart, so assessment work should be exported and retained with the engagement records.
Single file workflow
Download the build, keep it with the engagement files, open it in the browser and export the workpapers you need. The security handling model is set out below.
Local Security Model
Cybernion Local is built for confidential assessment work where client evidence should not be placed in a cloud platform. The offline build runs inside the browser on the machine that opens it.
No account, and no sign in
No telemetry and no analytics
No phone home licensing, the token is verified on the machine
No external calls and no automatic downloads
Nothing is sent to Cybernion
Licensing is signed and validated locally. Client evidence, assessment notes and exports stay with the practitioner unless they choose to move those files through their own approved handling process.
What is inside
Who it is for
Government, defence and regulated work where cloud platforms cannot be used during sensitive assessments, and any practitioner who wants client evidence processed locally.
Common questions
- What exactly is Cybernion Local?
- Cybernion Local is a single HTML file that runs in the browser on the machine that opens it. There is no server, no installation and no account. Assessment data should be exported and kept with the engagement records, because browser storage is not a long term record system.
- What happens if the browser refreshes or the machine restarts?
- A refresh, browser restart or machine restart can clear information held in the browser. Treat Cybernion Local as a working tool, not permanent storage. Export the workbook and generated artefacts whenever the work needs to be retained.
- Is the ISM content current?
- Yes. Cybernion Local is aligned to the latest ISM release available in the current build, with framework content updated quarterly when ASD publishes.
- Does client data leave the machine?
- No. Cybernion Local processes assessment data in the browser on the machine that opens the file. Client evidence, notes and exports stay with the practitioner unless they move those files through their own approved handling process.
