Privacy Policy

How Cybernion handles information across the website, Cybernion Cloud, Cybernion Local and our advisory work.

Scope

This policy applies to cybernion.com.au, Cybernion Cloud, Cybernion Local, contact forms, product enquiries, support requests and advisory engagements with Cybernion Pty Ltd. Engagement-specific confidentiality, security and data handling obligations may also be set out in a separate written agreement.

Information we collect

We collect the information you provide to us, including name, work email, organisation, role, message content, product enquiry details, support requests and engagement information. Cybernion Cloud may process account, workspace, assessment, evidence, export and audit-log information needed to provide the product. Cybernion Local is designed to run on your machine; information entered into Local stays on that machine unless you choose to send it to us or upload it elsewhere.

Confidential and classified information

Cybernion products and services may be used for sensitive security, compliance and assurance work. Do not submit classified information, security classified government information, regulated data, credentials, secrets or highly sensitive client evidence through a website form or email unless Cybernion has agreed the handling method in writing. Where an engagement involves confidential, sensitive or classified information, the client remains responsible for confirming the classification, permitted handling channels, access controls, storage location and any agency or contractual requirements before providing that information to Cybernion.

How we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries, provide products and services, operate and secure Cybernion Cloud, issue Cybernion Local download or licence information, deliver support, maintain records, meet legal obligations and improve the product. We do not sell personal information and we do not add website enquiries to a marketing list without a clear basis to do so.

Security and hosting

The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Cybernion Cloud is hosted in Australia. We use reasonable technical and organisational controls to protect information, including access control, least privilege, secure transport, logging and operational monitoring. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed risk free, and clients should choose Cybernion Local where an offline workflow is required.

Service providers

We use service providers where needed to operate the website, forms, email delivery, hosting, security and product infrastructure. The website forms use Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection and Mailgun for transactional email delivery to [email protected]. Providers are used only for business purposes connected to Cybernion's operations.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide products or services, maintain business records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect Cybernion, clients and users. Product workspaces and engagement records may be retained or deleted according to the applicable plan, engagement terms or client instruction.
